Design–Build:
One Process, One Team

At Timbero, we bring design and construction together in one clear and coordinated process. Instead of working with multiple separate parties, you work with one team that guides your project from the very beginning. Our architects, engineers and builders collaborate from the first sketches to ensure that the design, budget and construction solutions work together. We take responsibility for managing the entire process and coordinating all specialists involved. This approach keeps communication simple, decisions clear and the project transparent. It also helps control costs during design and allows construction to start smoothly once the project has been approved.

Architectural Design and Planning

Every home begins with a clear and well-prepared project. At Timbero, the design process starts with understanding your land plot, needs and vision for the future home. Our architects develop the architectural concept, floor plans and technical solutions that shape the building. During this stage we also design the building structure and engineering systems to ensure the house is functional, energy-efficient and durable. Because design and construction are closely connected in our process, we always consider practical building methods and realistic budgets. The result is a clear, coordinated project that creates a strong foundation for a smooth and well-organised construction process.

Full Construction Process

Once the project is ready and approved, Timbero manages the full construction process. We carry out all main building works, starting with site preparation, groundworks and foundations. Our team then builds the house structure, installs the roof, windows and facade, and continues with the necessary engineering systems inside the house. Interior finishing and final details are completed so the home is ready for living.

Throughout the process we coordinate all specialists, materials and construction stages to ensure quality, efficiency and clear communication.

Depending on the project and architectural design, we build timber homes using three proven technologies: timber frame houses, laminated log houses and CLT panel houses. Each of these building methods offers its own advantages in architectural flexibility, construction speed and natural living quality. The following section introduces these three technologies and explains how they differ.

Timber Frame Houses

Timber frame houses are currently the most widely used type of wooden home. The structure consists of a wooden frame filled with insulation and finished with interior and exterior layers. This system allows great flexibility in architectural design and material choices. Timber frame houses can be built on site or produced as prefabricated elements in a factory. The technology enables energy-efficient construction and a comfortable indoor climate, especially when combined with natural insulation materials.

Laminated Log Houses

Log houses are one of the oldest and most traditional forms of wooden construction. Modern laminated log technology combines this tradition with precision manufacturing. The logs are produced from several layers of timber, glued and milled to achieve high stability and accuracy. These structures are strong and durable, allowing spacious interiors and large window openings. Laminated log houses offer a natural living environment with visible wood surfaces and a warm, authentic atmosphere that many homeowners value.

CLT Panel Houses

CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) panels are a modern engineered wood material made by bonding layers of timber boards in alternating directions. This creates large, strong and stable structural panels used for walls, floors and roofs. CLT construction allows very precise manufacturing and fast assembly on site. The interior surfaces of the panels can often remain visible, highlighting the natural beauty of wood. Because of its strength and efficiency, CLT technology is increasingly used for modern timber homes and larger buildings.
