Heide can serve as a compact home or a holiday house where you can relax comfortably in winter too. The insulation thickness can be chosen to suit the planned use of the building.

The walls of Heide are built with a modern timber technology – CLT panels. CLT panels consist of several layers of boards glued crosswise. The CLT structure provides good thermal and sound insulation and creates a comfortable, healthy indoor climate. On the outside, the walls get additional insulation and a ventilated facade. Windows and doors have triple glazing, and heating is provided by one of the most energy-efficient solutions – a heat pump. The building is designed to stand on concrete pier or screw pile foundations.

A well-planned layout

Despite its compact size, Heide is laid out to be comfortable every day for one person or a couple. The heart of the house is a spacious living room with a kitchen area (21.7 m²), with room to relax, cook and host guests. A separate bedroom (11.2 m²) gives privacy and space for a double bed and a wardrobe. The generous bathroom (4.0 m²) has a shower, toilet, washbasin and space for a washing machine, and the hallway (4.1 m²) works as a practical entrance area.

At the front of the house there is a terrace that can be extended to suit your wishes. By individual agreement the layout can also be adapted, for example to add a sauna, an extra bedroom or other changes to suit your needs.

Category 1 building

Heide is designed as a Category 1 building with a building area of up to 60 m². This means a simpler design and approval process than for larger houses. Specific requirements may vary depending on the plot and the municipality, so we will help you assess your situation and prepare the necessary documents.
